Apply now! 2019/2020 TRU OER Development Grant

The University Library in conjunction with the Center for Excellence in Learning and Teaching (CELT) and Open Learning are pleased to announce that the Open Education Resource (OER) Development Grant Program has been extended for 2019/2020. This grant program has been generously funded by a 2019/20 Strategic Initiative Fund (SIF) Grant.

The OER Development Grant (OERDG) program at TRU provides funding and staff support to TRUFA and TRUOLFA members who wish to integrate open educational resources (OER) into their TRU courses. This direct support can be used by faculty to adopt, adapt, create, and/or integrate OER as primary materials within their TRU courses.

This SIF-supported grant program anticipates funding up to eight (8) grants for the 2019-2020 fiscal year.

Submission deadline is Friday, May 31, 2019.

Are you interested in promoting open educational resources (OER) at TRU? You may be interested in a new opportunity at TRU. The Project Coordinator for OER Grants will work with a team from the Library, Open Learning, and CELT to promote, support, and administer annual grants for faculty that are to be used to develop and integrate OER into course material. Faculty interested in this position should have some familiarity with OER and working in collaborative teams. The release is two three-credit courses (or equivalent).
