One of the first priorities of TRU’s Open Education Working Group is to complete an OER inventory about what kinds of course materials are being used in TRU’s campus courses. Open educational resources are teaching, learning, and research resources that are created with the intention of being freely available to users anywhere. They may include, but are not limited to textbooks, readings, multi-media files, software, assessment tools and even entire courses. Some are covered by licenses that allow for their use, re-mixing and sharing.[1]
We are asking TRU Faculty to contribute to the inventory by completing the Open Resources Inventory Form.
